Still no joy with the Aquanox and Aquanox2 models, the .x model keep being corrupted on conversion. :(
Just another tragic case of terminal kinetic energy poisoning!

Update;

Well AD models have been converted, AN and AN2 have been converted into .X files, but fail to convert further. The AN and AN2 will require manual conversion into another mesh format.

Next process is to update meshes and materials for models. The goal is to get the models with PBS support with the game engine.

Ideally having high quality plans of the submarines and key models, I would start from scratch and made very high quality mesh and textures.

Well found problem, for some reason the MSBTOX files I had were the incorrect ones. Managed to get the old XP server up and running and located the original version which works 100% for both AN and AN2.
Just another tragic case of terminal kinetic energy poisoning!

Hello People!

Could you please tell me how to convert Archimedean Dynasty models? Is there a tool available?

€DIT: Any help for a Aquanox .msb converter would be nice, too :)

The .x files created by msbtox are invalid. I can import them, but i dont see anything. Maybe the tool has an error...?

Seems to be the same issue for me. Maybe wrong MSBTOX.exe...
I converted the Succubus from Aquanox 2 with original Textures into 3ds max with NinjaRipper (Very hacky way) but i need some more days for the UV Mapping process. After finishing the whole model i will import it into X3- Terran Conflict for further testing and some Screenshots, and maybe i will make a better Texture for it (Ofc this needs a lot more time)

If I remember it right, somebody remodeled the succubus a few years ago in the Silent Depth forum. Maybe Xaron still has a backup of it. But I guess you have so much fun doing it, that you would do it anyway. :D

Well i have some things that make more fun than UV Mapping but i have made well progress now. The Original has some texture errors and i will fix them, too. I can provide an early render picture later.
